SCMS 2012 - Full Marathon

SCMS 2012 - Finally done the Full Marathon at 5 hours 40 minutes. Started the run off orchard at abt 5:15am and maneuvering off CBD towards Esplanade. My pace was set at 6:15min per km, and have maintained it till we hit Fort road, where it links up to ECP run tracks. Gosh at that point the africans are already on the opposite direction towards Marina Barrage while we still trying to figure out where is the U turn point. Well I found it eventually 40mins later..and head towards MB. @3:35mins i reach the 29km mark, where my quote "Give the runner beside u a thumbs-up!". Indeed a kudos to all runners for making that far. The remaining distance under the scotching sun is the toughest challenge. It ultimately wipe off my energy level 5km before the finish point. Embarrassing to some, I walked my way to finish line..did not meet my target time below 5 hours. Slight disappointment but nonetheless it is crossing the finish line that counts! Yes!
